Prime Community Housing and Development (Prime CHD) is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation established in 1989 to serve the needs of economically at-risk individuals and families in the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. We are committed to cultivating dynamic and healthy communities by developing and owning affordable housing for families, seniors, and people with disabilities who need access to quality housing opportunities. Secondly, Prime CHD recognizes that developing affordable housing in America alone is not enough for hard-working people to achieve stability and be successful. That is why PCDC is also committed to providing supportive services through its Resident Service Department. With the Resident Service Department’s focus on Health and Nutrition, Resident Engagement, Youth Education and Development, and Economic Stability and Mobility, Prime CHD has created communities that put people first.
