Empowering individuals and improving our communities through veteran-led wilderness expeditions. All our expeditions are led by experienced military veterans, focused on core military skills, and provide the unique environment to build strong relationships, bridge cultural barriers, and build community through transformative experiences. Project Alto provides equitable access to these life-changing experiences by providing scholarships to cover tuition, equipment and expenses for young adults who otherwise would not be able to afford these experiences. Each expedition blends military veterans, recipients of need-based scholarships, and conventional clients, creating a dynamic and inclusive hybrid that creates a rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives that enriches every expedition. This combination not only ensures accessibility and affordability for all but also fosters a vibrant community where backgrounds, stories, and journeys converge to enhance understanding, personal growth and foster lasting connections.
