But when reading isn't accessible, learning isn't either- limiting students' ability to grow and lead. This challenge is especially present in underfunded schools, where students face barriers like not enough books and resources, overcrowded classrooms, and fewer opportunities for mentorship.
Read Better Be Better is ensuring that all youth in Arizona have the skills to read and lead. Through our programs, young readers gain literacy skills, older students step into mentorship roles, and high schoolers explore pathways to teaching and civic leadership.
Readers become leaders, and leaders become changemakers.
