Red River Commodities was formed in 1973 and started as a specialty grain trading company. Since then, we have had several successful acquisitions and are continuing to evolve. We are currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Acomo, an international organization active in the worldwide sourcing, trading, treatment, processing, packaging, and distribution of conventional and organic niche food products and ingredients.
Today, we process sunflowers and select other specialty crop agricultural products to create a variety of food products and ingredients. We contract directly with local growers to provide the freshest possible grains at the best possible prices and our processing facilities are located in the heart of sunflower seed and grain-growing regions.
