SOBER Ring

The SOBER Ring is a startup founded by undergraduates from the University of Oxford and Imperial College London. It is an innovative solution addressing the critical global issue of alcohol misuse, which causes over 3 million deaths annually and leads to numerous societal and health problems. Our wearable device monitors blood alcohol concentration (BAC) in real time using advanced enzymatic electrode technology to measure sweat alcohol levels. Paired with a smartphone app, the ring notifies users of their drinking status and health conditions, celebrates progress, and promotes responsible alcohol consumption.
