The UKCRIC Soil-Foundation-Structure Interaction Laboratory is a state of the art facility at the University of Bristol designed to enable research into the structural-geotechnical boundary, supporting the UKCRIC mission to underpin the renewal, sustainment and improvement of infrastructure and cities in the UK and elsewhere.
We are established as the only UK facility able to undertake seismic qualification testing, with two 6 degree of freedom seismic shaking tables. We can also undertake large-scale structural and geotechnical tests, specialising in soil-structure interaction and foundation testing.
