Vision & Mission
Facing the energy transition challenges and insecurity coupled with a future oil and gas supply and demand, the Oil and Gas industry has found itself in a rough sea. Yet, there are still many stones left unturned on the way to finding the optimum solution to the energy transition problem, and as zestful advocates of truly sustainable energy production, we regard hydrocarbons as an important constituent of the future energy mix. The question remains how to navigate the waters in the present moment.
While this daunting task might seem to some too big to be chewed, as a newly chosen board we are firm in our intentions to aid in turning the ship down the wind of change. We are of opinion that the industry has never yet offered so many opportunities for improvement, creativity, and innovation; such a fertile ground to cultivate lifelong learning aspirations and a keenness to grow. Correspondingly, our vision is to use the current situation to our advantage and be the guidance to younger generations. In essence, supporting the emergent petroleum engineering students on their educational path is the principal WHY behind our intentions. In addition, we strive to complement the bonding between the industry, academia, and community, and as such, be the link the students are longing for these days.
