The Hyphen Project

The Hyphen Project company information, Employees & Contact Information

The Hyphen Project is a full-time 6-month neurodivergent friendly talent incubator for teens aged 16-18 years. Our learners develop a career plan and work on a project to kickstart that career with the help of mentors, advisors and coaches. We're here to shape a future where the potential and unique abilities of differently-wired Kiwis are recognised and realised, fostering their well-being, improving their career prospects and adding real value to their communities. The Hyphen Project champions stargazers, trailblazers and kiwis that think outside the box. Some of them are known as twice-exceptional (or 2e for short), which means they are super smart or creative yet are dealing with the disabling effects of ADHD, dyslexia or being autistic. Some might use the term neurodiverse or Māori terms like takiwātanga or aroreretini. Whatever the case, these kiwis have awesome gifts! Sometimes others might overlook their talents, but at The Hyphen Project we celebrate them and help them grow them further. We are the allies of awesome.
