Tinkesh Ability Foundation is a non-profit organization creating a system of access, support, and community for people with disabilities. We are committed to providing mobility aids, inclusive fitness spaces, and mental health support for PwDs across India.
TAF will partner with various organizations across the country to help individuals receive the mobility aids, including prosthetics they may require. We believe that to better enable people to receive and use these aids, there is a need for improved accessibility in infrastructure, and opportunities.
We are also creating a team of TAF counsellors, who are qualified psychologists, located across the country to offer counselling, support groups, and psychoeducation for PwDs, family members, and caregivers.
Further, TAF intends to create inclusive fitness spaces and increase awareness surrounding the challenges that impact the disability community. Inclusion, equal opportunities, and a high quality of life are our ultimate goals.
The TAF Team is highly passionate and personally dedicated to this mission, and always open to other allies, psychologists, and volunteers to help us on our mission.
