PCN 1 is one of seven Primary Care Networks in Tower Hamlets. Primary Care Networks are umbrella organisations that co-ordinate work across neighbourhoods. They are run by the GP Practices based in the area and work closely with partners from the local authority, hospitals, community health services, voluntary services, and local businesses.
PCN 1 was one of the first PCNs in the country, first established in 2010. It provides a learning environment that endeavours to build resilience across primary care through teaching, mentoring, recruitment and supervision. We work very closely with our neighbouring PCNs and the North East London Integrated Care Board to provide innovative solutions to current day issues
