Ours is a technical institute under the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, located in Coochbehar. CGEC was established in the year 2016 and completed its 5 years of excellence. The Institute enjoys a unique Status. The academic environment is conducive to the individual growth and all-around development of our students. In addition to core and non-core technology areas, students are equipped with the latest tools of software engineering and management, enabling them to meet the challenges and carve out a future for themselves in the age of globalization. The list of companies that had visited our campus for conducting recruitment drive includes prestigious companies like TCS Digital, TCS Ninja, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, Poornam, ICICI Bank, Indian Railway, Hi-Technext, Ori-Plast, Accenture, etc. The T&P(Training and Placement) Cell of Coochbehar Government Engineering College not only acts as a facilitator for training and placement but also works towards the overall development of the students. It works under the guidance of the Training and Placement Officer. It primarily works as a liaison between industry and institute. T&P Cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process.
