UDUYARS is a proactive, youth-led group dedicated to addressing the global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Our mission aligns with the Global Action Plan on AMR and supports Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being. More than just a student initiative, UDUYARS provides a platform for emerging young leaders from diverse academic and professional backgrounds to collaborate and innovate in tackling AMR. By fostering a multidisciplinary approach, we aim to empower youth to lead the fight against AMR and shape a healthier, more resilient future. Our Objectives: Empowerment: Equip young people with essential public health knowledge to actively promote good health and well-being in their communities. Innovation: Foster creative problem-solving and research skills to develop sustainable solutions to AMR and other public health challenges. Leadership: Cultivate a generation of global changemakers committed to addressing AMR and related health issues. Localized Solutions: Train youth to apply global health strategies locally, creating impactful, community-based interventions. Our Mission: We are dedicated to building a vibrant, interdisciplinary team of young leaders who are passionate about designing sustainable, local strategies to combat AMR and its interconnected public health challenges.
