Virginia Disability Determination Services

Virginia Disability Determination Services is a division within the Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services. We work in partnership with the Social Security Administration and the Virginia Department of Social Services to make decisions on disability claims. At Virginia Disability Determination Services, our mission is to make timely and accurate decisions on Social Security Disability claims under the Disability Insurance Benefits (Title II), Supplemental Security Income (Title XVI), and Medicaid (Title XIX) programs. Customer service is a core value in our division - we strive to serve Virginians every day. Our work is also rewarding as we provide assistance to the constituents of Virginia during their most difficult times and it makes a difference! The impact of our work has a ripple effect, which extends far beyond a disability decision.
