The Visitor Experience Group (VEX) provides professional development, networking, and resources for the arts and cultural sector in the fields of visitor services, audience engagement, and visitor experience. VEX hosts the Visitor Experience Conference, an international conference serving front line staff and beyond, which will take place October 7-9, 2018, in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout the year VEX hosts VEX Night Out events across the country, #VEXChats on Twitter, and other networking opportunities. VEX provides consulting services in the areas of staff training and creating welcoming environments. VEX was established in 2011 to share ideas, best practices, and innovations in the field of visitor experience, and is proud to announce that as of October 2017 has received its 501 (C) (3) non-profit status.
