“WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer” is the documentary film improving relations between police and people of color. We released the film February 1, 2017 and released an updated version in September 2020. We have had meaningful screenings and discussions in all 50 states, including two events that were hosted by Congressman Elijah Cummings.

WALKING WHILE BLACK: L.O.V.E. Is The Answer isn’t just a film — it’s the answer to the divide that exists between police and the communities they serve. We also offer workshops, webinars, and other training to go along with the film. The film is currently available in two versions: 94-minute theatrical and 60-minute classroom. We have a companion book called L.O.V.E. Is The Answer, that includes chapters by more than two dozen expert contributors.
