A nonprofit, the Foundation maintains a strong commitment to high standards of objectivity and balance in all its publications and programs, earning respect from all sides in the debate over water issues. The Foundation strives to foster public understanding of water issues and help resolve water resource problems through its educational programs, which include tours, conferences, its Western Water news articles, and Project WET (Water Education for Teachers).
