Regional Association of West Quebecers

The Regional Association of West Quebecers (RAWQ) is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit, community-based organization that serves and supports the English-speaking population in the Outaouais. Within its mandate, RAWQ serves and supports the English-speaking population by securing improved access to local services in English; providing youth with a voice and the means to exercise influence within the community at large; and serving as an information centre for English-speakers of the Outaouais. The Regional Association of West Quebecers also builds partnerships with other community groups serving the community in the areas of education, health, social services, arts, culture and community living; and encourages the participation of English-speakers within the region’s decision-making bodies.
