XLRI is developing an ecosystem to promote and support entrepreneurship. At the core of this ecosystem, an incubator (XLRI Council for Entrepreneurship Excellence and Development) has been setup which will help students, alumni and faculty launch high impact new ventures.
For Incubation – The venture should have an XLRI connection. At least one of the founders should be a current student at XLRI or alumni of XLRI or current faculty/staff member of XLRI. The founder or founders with XLRI connection should jointly hold at least 20% of the equity in the venture that is applying for incubation support and at least one of them should have an active management role in the venture. For mentors/investors – Any XLRI alumni can get involved in these and other supporting roles.
A physical facility of 6000 sqft. has been identified on campus. A fit-out of the facility will start soon. We will later expand the initiative to the upcoming campuses in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and also look at options to support incubation in Bengaluru and other metro cities.

Support to access markets and networks
Ancillary support – HR, IT, Legal, etc.
