Yemen Development Foundation

The Yemen Development Foundation (YDF) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization established in 2016 by a consortium of development professionals dedicated to empowering the most vulnerable, impoverished, and disadvantaged populations in Yemen. As a professionally managed NGO, YDF actively addresses both individual and community-related issues. Its primary focus is on alleviating the challenges faced by the poor in their pursuit of justice and dignity. Key components of its mission encompass environmental stabilization, humanitarian assistance, education, water and sanitation, food security, and the empowerment of communities for self-governance. YDF prioritizes gender justice, natural resource management, and livelihood security as critical areas of concern. Furthermore, maternal and child health, nutrition, child rights, and youth empowerment are integral to YDF's mission, grounded in the belief that women are pillars of society and that children and youth represent the foundation for a brighter future for Yemen.
