Department of Bioengineering (BE) is one of the youngest departments of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India working on Interdisciplinary research. Founded in 2014 under the Division of Interdisciplinary Sciences, we promote cross disciplinary research at the interface of Biology and Engineering. Our current research domains span from basic biology to advanced engineering and applied research. As a budding centre of the Institute, we look forward for an active engagement with researchers across the world working at this exciting interface.
