Accountable to the executive director for the organizations’ financial management, human resources, donor & member relations, public & press relations, community outreach, and program development & implementation. • Develops and oversees implementation of annual operating budgets, including programmatic, fundraising and financial/administrative plans.• As Chief Financial Officer, prepares monthly financial statements, evaluates performance relative to budget, and implements corrective strategies as needed for compliance/success.• Develops and implements consistent, cohesive and effective communications strategies around public policy issues and public education/legislative initiatives.• Manages metrics to measure effectiveness of media strategies and initiatives.• Directly supervises operations/finance staff and public policy & communications interns.

Clients included New York State Teachers Retirement System, School Employees Retirement Board of Ohio, Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System, and Florida State Board of Administration. • Formulated strategic operating plans for each investment property, including operating budget, value enhancement strategy, and disposition plan.• Supervised implementation of strategic plans via daily communication with asset managers, and consultation with onsite property managers.• Proficiency in lease administration, including CAM, tax, & percentage rent billings.
