 My role was to call supporters or individuals who had shown an interest in the charities we work on behalf of, to let them know about raffles that the charities were holding.  I had team targets and individual targets daily and monthly, this enabled me to work in a team and provide support to other members of staff in that role. I was trusted to call supporters about increasing their direct debits that they give to these charities which also involves demanding targets. This involved a small team of advanced fundraisers. I answered inbound calls from supporters, while completing my other duties, with queries about the raffle and provided information to aid any issues to ensure that the supporter leaves happy. Additionally, I was involved with sorting returned donations sent via post. This involved sorting the different payment methods into certain groups and calculating the total of returns for each group (batching). This involved the handling of cash, cheques and credit/debit card details, this involved a small team. I was trusted in training new staff and current staff to help them improve. This involved giving me my own team, of 4-6 members of staff, where my team had a team target and personal targets. My role was to ensure my team members reached their targets by providing support and personal knowledge. We had friendly competition with the other team each time as there was always 2 teams.
