This is done in a variety of languages, including TCL, java, SQL and an in-house language.I also act as release manager for my team, helping to track and maintain progress on releases from the development stage, through to testing, UAT and go-live.

I was responsible for managing the uat and production Fidessa environments, maintaining and improving the systems and ensuring that product updates, customer releases and upgrades were integrated and applied efficiently and correctly, As part of the role, there was extensive communication with the team responsible for customisations and development, and between the client and Fidessa.Communication and change management was greatly improved, with integration and synchronisation sped up to take hours instead of days.
