I have spent two summers doing internships at General Motors and Northrop Grumman. At General Motors I worked as an Facilities Electrical Engineer where I worked in power stations, large scale circuits (buses) as well as control systems. While at Northrop Grumman I worked as a Systems Engineer intern. My knowledge of Electrical Engineering goes beyond my summer internships. As a student at Cal Poly Pomona I have done a total of 10 labs. These labs consisted of Circuit Analysis, Digital Logic Design, Systems and Signals, Microelectronics Circuits, Analog Microelectronics, Microcontrollers, Control Systems, Power Engineering, and Communications. At the end of my time at Cal Poly Pomona I did my Senior Design Project with Dr. Mohamed E. Aly working on a power transfer drone project. The goal of the project was to keep a large drone in flight while smaller drones used a QR code as guidance to land on the large drone and charge it up while also doing an encrypted data transfer.At the conclusion of my time on the project we will submit our project and finding to the NASA Minds project conference in April.
