I am a man of faith, an entrepreneur, a re-entry expert, and a film producer dedicated to reshaping narratives around marginalized and justice-impacted communities. Before my incarceration, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Columbia College in Chicago. However, my misaligned desire for success led me to a federal sentence of 9 years and 5 months on drug trafficking charges. I was released in 2019.During my time in prison, I underwent a profound transformation. Through faith, education, and leadership roles, I redefined my identity and recognized my inherent entrepreneurial spirit. Armed with a renewed purpose, I emerged determined to bridge the economic disparities faced by those affected by the justice system;through addressing housing,financial empowerment & access to sustainable careers.I founded several impactful ventures, including Escape the Odds Media & Education, which empowers individuals by providing educational programming to correctional facilities and community organizations. I also established SwitchHustlesUniversity.com, an innovative online education platform designed to equip people with the skills and confidence needed to enter the workforce or start their own businesses. Additionally, my trucking company creates employment opportunities for justice-impacted individuals, demonstrating my commitment to creating pathways for leveling up.My greatest mission is to change the dominant narrative surrounding justice-involved individuals and the underserved, as seen in my forthcoming documentary, “Escaping The Odds Of Recidivism.” I believe that by switching your mindset, you can switch hustles, which has the power to elevate both individual lives and the community as a whole.let’s connect to explore ways to bring educational programming to your clients and leverage my lived & professional experience.
