Hello, my name is Aaron Brown and I recently graduated from the UX Design Immersive bootcamp at General Assembly. I decided to pivot towards the tech industry because of a close connection of mine who took notice of my 13 year graphic design background and introduced me to Career Karma. This is where I started my journey to break into tech, completed my “21 day challenge” and found UX design, where I felt an immediate connection to the design skills I had acquired and decided to pursue UX more intently.I'm most interested in designing solutions centered around identifying the "Real" problem, image, branding and the creation of elements to evoke emotion & appreciation.Prior to pursuing education in UX design I worked for Rent-A-Center Inc. starting as an entry-level employee and becoming Store Manager. Being in the service industry was both humbling and rewarding as I learned to communicate and collaborate with customers and colleagues alike which eventually led to my promotion to leadership.In the future, I see myself in an organization that values those who seek growth through self-discovery. I'm motivated by a passion and curiosity to create, gaining new perspectives through collaboration with others, and being the hardest worker in the room.
