I was responsible for the acquisition planning and execution of a $60M+ advanced technology for the defense of the National Capitol Region. I conducted cost-benefit analysis in order to determine long term strategies, ensuring the best-value capability was delivered to the end consumer. I led negotiations with a major defense contractor for a $10M contract modification resulting in an $800K decrease in cost.I managed a $104M program delivering and maintaining communications and targeting equipment to over 2,000 combat Airmen. I ensured competition to deliver the best value to the end consumer and planned long term maintenance strategies.I led an 18-member cross-functional team developing a $3.5M software program for combat air controllers. I interacted with the consumer to gain their inputs, then took their desires and led the engineering team to make them a reality. Through the iterative sprint methodology, we were able to test and deliver software to front-line troops four months early.During two years of this role, I pursued my MBA full time.
