Responsible for scheduling & re-scheduling patient appointments · Register new patients, verify insurance, copays, deductibles & demographics · Transfer incoming calls to the right department/personnel for further assistance · Provide status updates to patients/specialist regarding referrals/prescriptions · Confirm upcoming appointments & assist supervisor with difficult calls, & schedule pre-op · Takes messages from physician/hospitals/ patient; returns missed calls & voicemails

Answer incoming calls from applicants needing federal assistance/status updates · Process applications over the phone and advise of documents needed · Review all documents for processing in a timely manner, follow up with applicants · Follow guidelines policies and procedures to ensure safety of personal information

Setup/Process EFTs via email, mail, or over the phone. Answer incoming calls & emails from providers regarding their status/payments/1099s. Verify information with bank institutions to avoid any fraud. Verify/update/process return checks, return mail, returned efts. Provide schedule for team, train new employees, setup conference calls. Review production, ensure everything is getting completed in a timely manner.
