I am an independent Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Specialist and Business Analyst focused on the design and implementation of systems for measuring impact to solve social challenges. I work with cross-functional teams to develop Logic Models and Theories of Change to strengthen programs and to plan and map out MEL activities. I have over 11 years of program and project management experience and an extensive background in managing data-driven initiatives. I collaborate on all aspects of MEL from research study design and data collection/analysis to strategic planning based on insights from the M&E work (i.e., Learning!). I also drive strategic planning initiatives using business analytics and data insights to inform decision-making. I have extensive experience driving the development of key performance indicators and the systems and tools to track and measure progress towards meeting corporate goals and maintaining strategic direction. I am inspired by using business practices to bring about social change.

Research Analyst in the Monitoring & Evaluation Program

I facilitated the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities, data quality monitoring, and the validation of data collection tools for activities for vulnerable populations. I lead project development initiatives as the key organizational representative at high-level meetings with United Nations (UN) Country Directors, UN Program Officers, and government ministers. I collaborated with principal investigators on analysis plans, report writing, peer-reviewed publications, and IRB protocols for proposed research projects and conducted quantitative analyses of data for a variety of program and policy activities. I supervised support staff to meet project goals and individual employee goals and objectives and facilitated country-office program activities, including the expansion of projects, monitoring and evaluation, data collection, and staff recruitment.
