To name some of his actions: - helping people on the forums, - keeping tight contacts between users encountering problems and developpers at the company, - creating and managing the "triage/bug team" which ensures the bug reports are baby-sitted in order to provide both the user and the developer a rapid and efficient help, - ensuring the quality level of packages was good enough so each package could be installed and used (this is a huge work) - help in ensuring the distribution standards raised up in quality (that what really obvious in 2008 and 2008.1 releases), - to summarize, he gave the impression he had a '10 day-work' day, his working capabilities are very high above the average. That said, one cannot limit Adam's work to an excellent engineer activity. In fact he also did a tremendous lobbying for the open source community, not only for Mandriva, and helped a lot the company to get more visibility from the English-speaking users. Adam really deserves a lot for what he has already done and i'm sure he will find rapidly another job where his expert skills (as engineer but also as a very good communicator) will be appreciated rapidly.
