• Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the project team and the Mercury Safety Advisor. This will include the set-up, management of, and closing out of the safety file• Management of Site QA in conjunction with Mercury QA Manager including set up, management, and close out of file• Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with the Mercury Project team and Project manager.• Management of all day-to-day site operations• Direct management of Mercury Engineering project team including alignment of all disciplines leads to the benefit of project goals.• Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minute meeting with the sub-contractor.• Management of the Mercury “In Progress” snagging system ensuring that the supervisors return weekly punch lists where applicable.• Ensure direct labor hours and sub-contractor hours are reported to the time administrator for tracking centrally.• Drive Mercury Engineering's culture of safety and quality through the project.• Provide the safety and quality leadership required on all Mercury projects.• Ensure all Subcontractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.• Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, and Project Plan – all with the support of your Project team.• Record weekly safety stats & project labor projections.• Ensure that there are weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are being captured and costs issued to the client.• Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers• Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Program).

• Developing, agreeing, and maintaining the LU Interface Scope Schedule.• Advising on Works Package Plans (including production and agreement of User Requirement Specification) in respect of each Works Package for Expediting submittal and close out of Work Package Plan deliverables.• Assisting with the Development, maintenance & agreement of the schedule to deliver the Interface Works.• Resolving interface problems and driving forward the timely escalation of matters unresolved through relevant Working Groups.• Supporting the accountable project manager in the role of client.• Monitoring compliance with Undertaking and Assurances (having regard to CRL's general responsibility for overseeing compliance with the Cross rail Environmental Minimum Requirements); and dealing with breaches of any such Undertakings and Assurances.• Supporting the identification, review, and ongoing management of interrelated risks.• Escalating any conflict between proposed works and safety-related standards.• Reviewing closures and possessions plans and submitting agreed closure/possession requests in a timely manner.• Take reasonable care of your own and others' health and safety and of those who may be affected in the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working to the Cross-rail Target Zero principles.• Co-operate with Cross Rail in all matters relating to health and safety, always including following safe working procedures.• Act as a role model for Cross Rail’s vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with Cross Rail’s Ways of Working. • Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules.• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all Mechanical and related works prior to execution. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the MEP Manager for approval prior to execution at site.• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs. • Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the Mechanical work groups at site. • Plans the execution of all Mechanical related works and coordinates the works to Electrical and civil groups. • Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all Mechanical groups at site.• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required. • Supports the MEP Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the Mechanical and electrical groups at site. • Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards. • Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards. • Directly responsible for the safety of all Mechanical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards. • Carrying out all Mechanical Works and equipment’s installation activities• Attends regular meeting with client, civil engineers and consultant to provide update on project progress. • Pre-resolve any unexpected technical difficult

Responsibilities and Duties:  Coordinating between MEP and Civil Drawings at the site. Review the shop drawings, construction details, product data, material samples, inspection plans, methods statements, delivery schedules to confirm compliance with the requirements of the project. Reviewing submittals prior to submission to the Consultant. Ensure that all civil obstructions have been cleared to MEP contractor to proceed with MEP activities  Ensure that no conflict may happen between civil and MEP team  Engage with authority at beginning of project to insure that all temporary utilities (power and water) are provided on time and do the same with closing out of project to ensure disconnection of utility services.  Coordinate with temporary connection team to provide power /water where required.  Ensure a harmonious working relationship between the Contractor and the Consultants, understanding that open communication and team work are to be promoted and that an adversarial management style will be detrimental to the project.  Review the weekly reports, forward work plans and daily reports to verify comprehensive activity documentation. Committed to DSI HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative offices.
