My name is AJ Brown and I am a Junior finance major studying at The College of New Jersey. The most valuable lesson I have learned in my personal and professional experience is that no matter what industry you belong to, everyone has a customer. The customer is the most important aspect of one's career and I hope to one day improve the lives of countless customers through finance. I have a strong interest to grow my career in different industries such as the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and retail industry.Aside from having a love for connecting with people and researching current events in finance, I also enjoy power lifting in my free time as it is another way to challenge myself to be calm under pressure both mentally and physically. I also enjoy competing in business case studies, my most recent one being the NJC4 Rutgers case study. It was such an incredible and eye-opening experience which allowed me to improve my public speaking skills while also demonstrating my knowledge of finance, marketing, and supply chain management. As I embark upon my Junior year at TCNJ, I look forward to participating in the TCNJ Financial Management Association and Real Estate club. I am also excited to gain new certifications and continue my education post-graduation, as I am eager to complete my masters degree.
