For the last 13 years I have been working within employability supporting a wide range of individuals into work. My main experience has been working for the National Careers Service, initially as an advisor and then for the last 5 years working as a lead advisor. Due to The Growth Company losing the NCS contract I took an Employment Advisor role on the Restart Programme in Trafford where I supported individuals into work through a range of advice and guidance, job searching, CV writing and goal setting working with individuals who have been unemployed for 9 months plus. Since July 2023 I have been working in a new role with Trafford Council running job clubs and supporting people in the local community into work, training and education including apprenticeships. I have only just started in this role and I am extremely excited by being able to support my local community. My main skills include partnership work and partnership/business development, advice and guidance, challenging customers with realistic job goals, group session delivery, compliance and staff training. I have been incredibly successful in my time on NCS and this includes developing relationships with training providers, DWP, local authorities and charities. One major achievement includes arranging and delivering group sessions to over 600 ESOL students every year at Hopwood Hall College in Rochdale and this is something I replicated at Salford City College. I am driven to succeed in all that I do and have a proven track record in achieving results.
Listed skills include Interviews, Recruiting, Technical Recruiting, Recruitment Advertising, and 13 others.
