Today, CPU Tech (CPU Technology, Inc.) produces the Acalis® family of secure processors that protect software and systems from reverse engineering. I served as Chief Technical Officer and board member for 21 years.From 1989 through 2010, I was responsible for technology development, specializing in compatible systems design and the automation of system design methodologies. I was awarded over ten patents in the areas of system simulation, parallel processing, and semiconductor test methodologies.Highlights of my technical contributions to CPU Tech include: -- ACALIS secure processor cryptographic functions.-- Chaired the Architecture Review Board, which provided technical evaluation and architectural guidance for business proposals and internal programs.-- SystemLab™ PS Real Time Platform Simulator architecture.-- SystemLab™ PS models of the Bradley Combat System electronics.-- Design of multiple LRUs for the Bradley Combat System.-- Technology development of electronic systems for the F-16 Falcon.-- AMOLE “Detection of Trojans” – Trust in Integrated Circuits - Blue team member.-- Creation of automation tools that generate synthesizable processor designs, verification tests, and simulation models from specifications.-- Virtual modeling of complex electronic systems for applications including radar, EW, mission computing, and many more.-- Compatible processor and system development, including validation technology, targeting x86 and other processor architectures with AMD, TI, IBM, NEC, NCR, and many other semiconductor companies.-- Created the industry's first gate-level system simulation environment, SystemLab™, and CPU Design Language (CDL) (patents awarded).
