Senior Manager, Group Corporate Treasury (Gct) Finance Business Advisory
CurrentLead a team of 7 colleagues that serves dual purposes:● Delivery of new, complex transactions in GCT; and● Driving the culture of Process Improvement across the departmentMain Responsibilities New Complex Transactions:● Partner with GCT desks, understand their economic goals and support thedevelopment of proposed, new complex transactions with my strong technical financebackground● Experience across Capital, Funding & Liquidity, Securitisation, Interest Rate Risk, FX Risk● Collaborate with Technical Accounting Policy to deliver the accounting assessment andSOX Governance supporting transactions● Support Product Governance for new transactions in the department including liaisonwith key functions across LBG Group (e.g. Tax, Legal, Capital Reporting, Valuations, Group Finance)● Various Transaction Types: New Products, New Economic Structures, LiabilityManagement Exercises, Setting up New Businesses, M&A Activity, Restructuring ofExisting BusinessesMain Responsibilities Process Improvement:● Deliver LEAN reviews of processes across GCT to help teams remove waste and delivervalue-add to their stakeholders● Advancing the culture of Continuous Improvement to GCTKey Achievements:● Developed idea that led to highly successful capital instrument exchange (replacing legacy instruments with more capital efficient structure)● Successful design and setup of risk management model of CCY AT1 securities● Design and implementation of new Target Operating Model of Finance Business Advisory team
