Within my position at SUNY Purchase Jazz Conservatory, I am an instructor for multiple jazz ensembles and repertoire class. I am also an instructor of both the jazz history and jazz ensemble courses for non-music majors.

20+ years of teaching music.My musical career has given me the tools of connecting with students of all ages especially at high school and college levels. Real-world knowledge and professional experience have contributed to creating a style of teaching that both educates and inspires. My goal of teaching is to create a strong foundation of knowledge.

Course development and implementation, staffing, budgeting, marketing, training, and fundraising. I also help produce the annual Litchfield Jazz Festival as well as oversee and teach during the annual summer music camp.In summer peaks during Litchfield Jazz Camp, I oversee 60+ independent musical contractors and part time staff.

I am a professional international saxophonist and award-winning composer and educator. I perform nationally and internationally usually in Jazz(both classic and modern), Latin Jazz, and can add to any performance in folk, gospel, pop, and r&b ensembles.

I do artist talks, classes, clinics masterclasses and perform on Vandoren mouthpieces, reeds and ligatures. The best in the music industry.

I supply musicians (that will also include myself, when available) in various settings including jazz duo, trio, quartet, quintet, and large ensembles for all types of events. The primary goal and focus on developing weekly musical residencies in restaurants and various hospitality locations in the tri-state area. The goal is to give your place of business.

I organize music for B Smith's restaurants. Music has ranged from Jazz Duo, Jazz Trio/Quartet and a Latin Jazz Quintet.

Helped design and implement teaching curriculum for students from 5th grade to adulthood in which we taught various levels from basic musical concepts and fundamental rules on basic theory, to advance level ear training and jazz theory and composition.Worked with students in developing better communication within members of their ensemble as well as.

Performances for YMCA members in which we would perform jazz standards as well as original compositions.Held Clinics for children of all ages in which we would bring in a typical jazz "Quintet" and describe each role of the instrument including the history of the instrument in regards to jazz music. I would give details on what the role of a band leader is.

Prior to becoming a faculty member and administrator I served as a Teaching Assistant under mentor and fellow saxophonist Don Braden.
