Email surveys were sent to appliance buyers asking if they received the included product sample, tried the product sample, and if they were convinced to buy the product based on the use of the sample. These results were matched with demographic and socioeconomic data to identify relevant correlations between responses and buyer attributes. The results were analyzed, summarized into a deck, and presented to client and internal stakeholders. The insights derived from these analyses were used to show the lift in sales created by the inclusion of product samples and track the operational efficiency of the program.

The cleansed and structured data was then used to create standardized sales metrics to be visualized in dashboards. This provided executives with greater insight into the effectiveness of sales teams, created the ability to follow opportunities through the sales funnel, and increased the effectiveness of sales representatives by geographically mapping opportunities and their relevant metrics.
