Leading on all areas of NMC's fundraising and education activities; working closely with the Executive Director in developing new strategic partnerships and business planning; and overseeing governance and company policies. Fundraising: developing and delivering NMC's fundraising strategy, including line management of Development Assistant & freelance Trusts Fundraiser. Securing funding from and managing relationships across: individual giving from Friends to HNWIs; Arts Council England, Trusts, Foundations and other grant-giving bodies; regular donor-engagement events; Corporate Friends and sponsors; Legacy Giving. Education: devising and delivering NMC's education strategy; developing new strategic partnerships; creating and commissioning material for new resources; running practical projects linked to artistic output. Governance: fulfilling role of Company Secretary; responsibility for Trustee recruitment; overseeing creation and updating of company policies with the Chair; coordinating the Development Sub-Committee. Financial: contributing to business planning and annual budgeting with Executive Director, including strategic and artistic projects; day-to-day management of Development and Education budgets; preparing financial reports for quarterly Board meetings; contributing to annual accounting and audit process.
