Health-ISAC (Health Information Sharing and Analysis Center), is a global, non-profit, member-driven organization where health sector stakeholders join a trusted community and forum for coordinating, collaborating and sharing vital physical and cyber threat intelligence and best practices with each other. Members use this information to extend their security operations team and to create situational awareness, inform risk-based decision-making and mitigate against threats. Membership is open to public & private hospitals, ambulatory providers, health insurance payers, pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturers, laboratory, diagnostic, medical device manufacturers, medical schools, medical R&D organizations and other relevant health sector stakeholders. Member organizations become more resilient by working together, benefiting the entire health sector and its vital role in critical infrastructure worldwide.

I oversaw the development and organization of a distribution facility that operated two shifts and employed more than 90+ associates. I administered weekly payroll through ADP, coached and counseled non-exempt and exempt employees, directed new hire orientations, conducted benefit presentations, and facilitated our performance management program. I efficiently managed compliance paperwork, employee relations & investigations, workers compensation claims, compliance logging, effective documentation, terminations, UI claims & appeals. I demonstrated a proficient track record of investigating and dissolving disputes in a multitude of realms. I implemented internal full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring proper alignment with operational peaks and labor budget. I designed and implemented a Return-to-Work Program to lower Workers Compensation claims loss. I prioritized employee safety and OSHA compliance regulations.

I partnered and collaborated with teams in 8 locations across the United States in order to improve the human resource experience. I managed payroll, recruiting/staffing, audits, benefit administration, as well as leading change initiatives. I implemented HRIS to ensure all HR all processes are efficient, and compliance is maintained. I reduced cost, improved morale by creating transparency to personal benefits, created employee’s self-service and responsibility. Idirectly oversaw all DOT Compliance; I reviewed, designed, and implements policy and conducted an annual DOT internal audit. I managed business insurance renewals (auto, general liability, and workers compensation).

Recruitment, Interviewing, Training, Account Management.

As the Human Resources Specialist, I oversaw the growth and development of 400+ employees in two separate retail locations. I coordinated for the recruitment and interviewing process for job candidates seeking both hourly and salaried management positions. I acted as a liaison and bridge between supervisors and associates, as well as other administrative departments. I followed and referred to labor regulation laws and policies as well as maintained confidentiality with all employee wage, benefit, and counseling information.
