- Whilst at SEO Junkies/Advansys I worked as a SEO and PPC Account manager setting up and managing SEM campaigns primarily for ecommerce websites with main goal of selling products- I would put together the initial SEO strategy and would manage client campaign's there on after through to the completion of the clients campaign objectives - A strong understanding of SEM was essential and I gained experience working with a number of different CMS platforms; including Magento, Store Express and Sitemaker- Frequent reporting to clients was essential and a good understanding of Google Analytics was needed in order to identify areas of opportunity and to show the campaigns effectiveness and ROI I advised clients on website development throughout the campaign and liaised with writers to manage content creation and ensure all content was delivered optimised, on time and on brand. I also presented SEO training courses to both internal and external candidates.- This required me to have clear and strong communication skills as well as a passion for SEO in order to stay up to date with the latest in SEO techniques and trends, for the development of the presentations. - I also gained insights and experience into email marketing and conversion rate optimisation.
