NAVAL BASE CORONADO (NBC) BASESCommand Duty Officer • Assisted the Commanding Officer of seven (7) Naval Bases in running the base, responding to any incidents on scene, assuming the position of the Commanding Officer when they are unavailable or after hours, and inspection of the bases.

NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND (NAVFAC) SOUTHWEST:Staff Manager • Managed the analysis and projection of water and energy consumption of all the naval bases in the Southwest Region of the United States and their locations, buildings and commands. Created Excel Dashboard to relay information to the upper chain of command of the U.S. Navy.Construction Manager • Effectively managed up to 33 construction projects simultaneously totaling $18.4M at the Category 2, 3 and 4 levels.• Proactively coordinated and communicated the progress, status and outcomes of the projects within the Chain of Command, base departments, contractors, stakeholders and a variety of NAVFAC entities such as the Fleet Readiness Center, Moral Wellness and Recreation, Naval Special Warfare Command, EOD, Marine Expeditionary Strike Group and Naval Base Coronado as a whole.• Reviewed project design, constructability compliance, contract, scope and acquisitions before project was awarded.• Skillfully handled conflicts with budget, modifications, safety issues, scope of work and time impact projects.• Reviewed and revised as needed all Construction Project Submittals.• Executed COAR Modifications/Change Orders.• Calculated RS Means Cost Estimation for change orders and bids.• Reviewed AutoCAD drawings, layouts and designs.Assistant Command Fitness Leader• Lead the Fitness Evaluation Program to enrolled officers and enlisted personnel to ensure they have all the necessary resources available to them, while weekly assisting in improving their health and physical fitness, and maintaining the required administrative work. • Lead weekly fitness training sessions for the Naval Base Coronado Public Works Department officers to ensure physical readiness standards are upheld.• Administer the Navy Physical Readiness Test and the Body Composition Analysis for the entire NAVFAC SW Command, including enlisted personnel and officers.

•Led one of the two battalions in the Naval Officer Candidate School (OCS) for Class 15-13. Leader of 45 OCS candidates and in charge of two (2) additional OCS classes. Responsible for scheduling individual responsibilities and ensuring all jobs and tasks for all candidates were completed and goals were met, including personal training, medical and administration job duties. Was responsible for training and performance of battalion in drill and parade demonstrations and exercises.
