• Provide a safe and entertaining experience for customers rafting the Payette River• Provide information about local history and ecology of the Payette River system• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to ensure safety and organization while on and off the river

• Instruct and coach children ages 8-15 in Nordic skiing • Communicate with parents and coaches to create positive experiences for team community members

• Lead vegetation monitoring field crews of 2-6 people across Great Basin / sagebrush-steppe habitat• Coordinate day-to-day logistics and deployment for field crews and problem-solve unpredictable on-site challenges • Train new employees on field navigation, monitoring protocols and plant identification• Conduct field research to monitor post-fire vegetation recovery and provide information for land management decision making, with an emphasis on the 2015 Soda Wildfire megafire, located in Owyhee Mountains of Oregon/Idaho• Collaborate with stakeholders and colleagues to accurately and efficiently collect field data • Provide extensive knowledge of plant taxonomy and identification of Great Basin species• Assess the presence of invasive species and native vegetative recovery• Use ArcGIS software to collect field data and guide navigation, as well as organize and evaluate spatial information• Extensive use of handheld computers in the field and laboratory for data collection, entry, and storage

• Communicate effectively with parents and prospective students in on-campus tours• Utilize writing skills in varying forms of outreach, including blog posts and personalized letters, to contact prospective students • Provide knowledge of St. Lawrence University and its programs

• Assist with office and administrative work, collect information for advertising, and contribute to company projects• Instruct kayaking and provide safety kayaking for the Kid’s Kayaking Program
