Home Electronic Monitoring Supervisor. Manage and oversee the Home Monitoring Program for all non-violent offenders serving an active jail sentence that meet eligibility requirements. Daily use of State Police VCIN, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, OMS, Attenti Smart Viewing HEM Program. Counseling for inmates, conduct home checks, manage offender payment accounts, on call and surveillance checks 24/7 through GPS, calculate release dates, administer drug screens. Maintain contact with offenders, Attorneys, Judges and court clerks. Counsel offenders through arranging job opportunities, drug and alcohol therapy. Interview interested offenders that may be eligible by reviewing criminal histories and contacting references and conducting home/job site visits.

Through my schooling and experience at the Norfolk Sheriff's Office, I have gained above average computer skills in all of the various programs I have worked with (i.e Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel). I have recently received numerous civility checks and each one has proven to show that I am extremely helpful and professional. I also received "Employee of the Quarter" out of the entire Sheriff's Office. I have a working knowledge of the polices and procedures at the Norfolk Sheriff's Office and value them as a key influence to my work ethic. Within my years working at this career, I have worked in Records and Classification. I am extremely familiar with running criminal background checks and distinguishing custody levels based on said criminal background checks. While working in Records I have been tasked to calculate inmate's time, find any relatable credit that may apply, and to correctly update any and all information into our computer system. I have a professional relationship with the court personnel and speak with them on an everyday circumstance. I maintain my outstanding people skills with other jurisdictions, inmates, magistrates and probation officers. I have been told numerous times by my supervisors that I am the epitome of a team player. I have come to find that multitasking is crucial within the entire office and I am able to maintain composure and continue on with any obstacle thrown at me.

At Pier 1 Imports I worked as a sales associate. I strive in customer service and product knowledge. At Pier 1 Imports I earned "Associate of the Quarter" three times. I am extremely professional and provided the customer with the ultimate shopping experience. I assisted customers with options and never held back on my own ideas in order to create and helpful, yet honest environment.
