My undergraduate research focused on my thesis, which a successfully defended on latex balloon degradation in various environments. At the same time, I led a scientific outreach effort to increase public awareness of balloon pollution and promote our citizen science smartphone app. I developed science communication skills by posting on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, and sharing my work with the Women in Ecology and Evolution podcast.

I assisted students at every level of the writing process: brainstorming, outlining, and proofreading. I ensured students had proper grammar and coherent essays. I frequently worked with ESL students.

As barista, I prepared specialty coffee and tea drinks to quality standards using precise and accurate procedures to operate coffee equipment. I maintained cleanliness of shop to keep dining and food-prep areas hygienic, food-safe, and organized. I trained new baristas, helped customers navigate the menu, and collaborated with other baristas and kitchen staff to provide friendly and timely customer service.

As Communication Chair for the University of Scranton's Commuter Student Association, I collaborated with my fellow board members to plan and promote events, publish important information to commuters, and manage social media. I used Microsoft Outlook to correspond with club members on behalf of CSA. I also developed design skills on Canva by using it to create promotional posters and social media posts.
