My key responsibilities include collaborating with Axxess’s in house legal team to:Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to ensure contracts align with the company’s strategic objectives while mitigating legal risks and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Advise on employment law matters, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and handling employee-related legal issues.Manage litigation, including working with external counsel to mitigate risks and protect the company’s interests.Offer strategic legal advice to senior leadership on a wide range of business and regulatory matters.Ensure compliance with healthcare and data privacy regulations, including HIPAA, to support the company's home health technology offerings.Support the development and implementation of corporate governance policies, ensuring board compliance, managing corporate records, and advising leadership on governance-related legal issues.Monitor the protection of the company’s intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Advising on IP strategy, managing IP portfolios, and handling licensing agreements to safeguard innovation.This role enables me to contribute to Axxess's mission to empower healthcare organizations and professionals with the world's best technology solutions by navigating legal complexities and supporting key business initiatives.
