I volunteer my time for the Theatre Program at Fenton High School. I serve as the Assistant Director for the Fall Play, the Contest Play (a competition show) and the Spring Musical. Aside from doing what ever is thrown my way, I have recently established myself as the director who assits students in establishing a concrete acting technique for themselves. I do this by having the students play character development games, table reading, character research and sometimes even getting in the moment with them. I often will jump on the stage and help them discover new limits that they may not be able to do on their own. It's difficult to put it into words, but seeing is believing. And the work I do with these students.. it's definitely the best sight in the world.
