  As a Director of Rehab (DOR) I work as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality services to seniors and those admitted into the skilled rehabilitation and assisted living environments after illness or injury. In this role, I provide support services to the rehab team of professionals by performing tasks related to scheduling, billing coordination, budget managing and serving as a customer service resource for families. In combination with my DOR position, I currently practice as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant/L with the senior population. In this role, I work under the leadership of OTR professionals to develop and execute a holistic plan of care for recovery to promote independence for the seniors we serve. My interests in senior care include neuro reeducation and supports for aging in place. I am currently in the process of being a "Certified Aging in Place Specialist" (CAPS).
