In my role as a senior data scientist on our Media Analytics team within Kroger Precision Marketing, I was responsible for:- Effectively managing campaign analytics and insights across Kroger Precision Marketing portfolio of media products (email, programmatic display/video, Pinterest…etc.)- Partnering with sales and account management team to own the analytic relationship with CPG clients- Interpreting results and developing actionable recommendations from robust 1st party data to build relevant customer stories for clients- Contributing to the developing, defining, and completing of custom projects and analytics that help drive media campaigns, customer insights, and client relationships forward- Leading and managing projects, tasks, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to brief specification- Assisting with development of junior analysts and new team members on media measurement interpretation, results delivery, KPM-specific skills, and analytic techniquesPrior to my current role, I spent almost 3 years on the Commercial Insights & Loyalty Partnerships Team within the Merchandising space. * Aggregate data in SAS and SQL pertaining to the member experience from a marketing perspective to streamline and improve connection with our members while working with data analytics teams across the company.* Assisted in the data analytics work for various "test and learn" procedures to evaluate Humana members horizontally across the entire experience to find connections and insights across all lines of business. These calculations were done for various groups of members to provide useful insights to business leaders in order to improve the communication experience for our members.

Researched topics of interest to the Medicare Trend Analytics team, such as ESRD and Hospice Medicare claim inconsistencies, and then prepared and presented the results to upper management. Utilized large amounts of claims and membership data and ran them through models to calculate the approximate changes to claims trends over the last year. Broke this information down into components to forecast trend for the following year and beyond.

Revised and submitted annual rate filings for Medicare Supplement plans nationwide and implemented these rates to the designated plans when approved. Completed Ad Hoc projects for the team including a revenue study to revise the way the Medicare Supplement team reviewed their rate filings and a lapse study to test and verify the accuracy of the team's model assumptions. Updated and improved efficiency in the calculations for the team's financial models and filing templates in Excel.
