Manage team of 6 assistants includes colorist, Lab. Good Contacts with Spinners, Fabric suppliers in Bangladesh, India, Pak, China, Vietnam, Taiwan. Cross function relationships including buying, merchandising, design and suppliers/ vendors.TRAVELLING EXPOSURE  Visited HQ in Hamburg Germany to attain buyer meetings, mill week presentation. Attained Intertex Expo and Spin Expo Shanghai. Visited Istanbul, Turkey for process study and meet suppliers. Visited China to meet fabric suppliers, good contacts with fabric mills. Good contacts with fancy yarn spinners in India, China and Bangladesh. Visited Ethiopia for factory evaluation, developments, technical service and training.

PRODUCTION AND PLANNINGKnit/ Woven Garments & Fabric  Set up a complete fabric to garment knit project. Machinery Selection/ machine erection/ training. Garment line planning as per garment style, no of operations & capacity. Creating & scheduling calendar of make to orders, Production lead/ follow ups. Department planning, execution, machine booking & scheduling in knitting. To make & maintain time & action calendar for all orders & discuss with all heads.Hands on experience in …  All kinds of fibre compositions in Woven/Knit yarns.. Natural, Cellulosic, Synthetic. Fabrics like Poplins, Flannels, Twills, Voile Shirting, Bottoms- Denim/ Non-denim, Jerseys, RIBs, IL, Jacquards, Fleece, Polar Fleece, French terry and their derivatives/ structures. Active wear with Poly, Nylon, Polyamide with UV protection, wicking, breathable, Dri-Fits, Moisture management, Elastane etc.

TECHNICAL SERVICES/ QUALITY/ DEVELOPMENTs/ PRODUCTIONKnit Developments, Quality Assurance, Product Testing  Handled complete knit plant of 150 knitting machines with 100+ head counts.  Responsible to send to our lab testing provider fabric and sample to ensure information conforms to vendor’s fabric specs and quality requirements as per ISO testing methods. Share test result with factories/ concern production teams. Create and maintain a library of all lab test reports per season, per launch, per vendor, per style. Responsible for in-house Wash Garment test: Wash and dry pre-production garments or send for lab testing with our designated lab and inspection testing service. Continually seek to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in the quality control process. Works to meet required ship dates, and adjusts schedules to reflect changes in priorities, required dates, and production capabilities. Maintain and organize all Quality department samples, and ensure that they are labeled accordingly. Collaborates with the Investigation of customer complaints regarding quality. Participate in final inspections from development stage, fit samples and final bulk to assure all quality aspects, garment optic, measurements as per tech pack. Following ISO standards check quality specs/ internal and external lab test reports for physical/ chemical, AZO, ECO testing to ensure product is sustainable.  Evaluate factory performance monthly on basis of analysing quality issues, inspection failures and discuss with concern quality/ management teams.  Experience in handling Fabric Development for below customers …..Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma, Walmart, GAP, Eddie Bauer, Greg Norman, Mothercare, Phat Farm, Next, Outer banks, Muji, Josephine Chaos, Milltex, Easter Warmth, Living Craft, Woolworth, New Times, Sara lee, Hanes, Zara, H&M, C&A, Tom-Tailor, BONiTA Etc.
