Using my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the Music Industry, I hope to continue a successful career in the business. The degrees and my accumulated experience have provided me a wealth of knowledge not only in the domestic music industry, but now the entertainment industry as a whole both in the US and Internationally. As an intern with BMG Music Publishing-US Latin, I was able to become well-versed in 2E licensing for the exploding Latin market. Additionally, I worked on several accounting research projects, as well as assisting with the implementation of the then newly acquired Zomba catalogs.In the over 7 years that I worked at Naxos, I built a royalty administration system and database from the ground-up. Because of the nature of classical music, I have also become well-acquainted with the intricacies of copyright law. The company grew to offer administration services for 30+ labels for a variety of royalty payouts and licensing.I've now become a rights guru for linear and entertainment exploitation for one of the top media brands of the world.
